Direct Care Aide

Title: Direct Care Aide
Manager: Kit George
Description: Working 20 hours per week with adults with developmental and other disabilities at our Yarmouth Day Center. Work as a member of a team providing support to consumers to encourage independence and personal growth.
Qualifications: Ability to assist people in and out of wheelchairs and up from and down to mats, and to intervene verbally and physically with consumers during behavior incidents. Acceptable criminal background check required. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Experience and/or training in working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
