Community Connections employs a team of highly qualified employment specialist who support individuals in securing community based employment.
Community Connections Employment Services adheres to the Place-Train Model of supported employment. Traditionally, adults with disabilities have been expected to develop work skills in a sheltered setting, with limited financial incentive and personal challenge, before obtaining real work experiences. For many, competitive employment was unreachable. Through the Place-Train Model, individuals are given the opportunity to secure competitive employment within a community based company from the onset. The necessary work skills and responsibilities are taught “on-the-job” by an employment specialist with a high rate of success.

Community Connections is accredited at the highest level by The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and is licensed and certified with distinction by the Massachusetts Department of Developmntal Services (formerly DMR.)
