Therese Arruda Recieves the Madeline Pimental Direct Service Professional Award

Therese "Terri" Arruda, Case Manager at the agencys President Avenue Day Center, is the 2009 recipient of the Madeline Pimental Direct Service Professional Award. Terri epitomizes the spirit of this annual award which recognizes consistent excellence, commitment, caring and professionalism while serving individuals with disabilities, says Community Connections President Donna Sabecky.

Community Connections Awarded OSHA Grant

Community Connections received an $18,000 grant from OSHA for safety training for clients who are employed in community-based jobs and the staff who support them.

Five Clients Earn MDDC Self-Advocacy Certificate
